The Daily Waffle: Episode Ninety

BE WATCHING THE WATCHMEN FOR FREE!

We learned about this too late for yesterday's waffle, but HBO have made all nine episodes of the Watchmen free to view on their website this weekend.

The show was critically acclaimed and although we've only watched the first episode so far we agree with that assessment. It's dark, and it's not always a comfortable watch, but it's a magnificent piece of work.

And if anyone wonders - the Tulsa Massacre of 1921, depicted in Episode One? (Not a spoiler, it's where we start). A real thing that actually happened, pretty much in the way shown on the show.
