From the pen of the ever brilliant Magdalene Visaggio, Jinny Hex stars- in her first solo adventure-and she's ready and raring to go!

Bursting out of the pages of Young Justice, this fan-favorite gal is heading back home to take care of some unfinished business! Hoping to take some time off from Multiverse conflict, Jinny reconnects with some old friends and family. But that all goes out the window when a new foe called Three-Eyed Jack transports her town back to the Old West. Now it's up to Jinny to face off with this super-powered gunslinger and save her town! But Jinny's about to learn that some threats are closer to her heart than expected.

Long ago, in the before-times. Before the plague. Before the purge. There was a man called Dan DiDio who ran DC Comics. He had a vision. He called it 5G*. He imagined five generations of DC Heroes spanning across time from the past (the idea was that Wonder Woman was the first of all of them, if I recall correctly) into the future. It was going to be a whole new direction for DC and the DC Universe. The "Next Big Thing" if you will.

Then two terrible things happened.

The whole World was plunged into a global pandemic (which of course is the reason I can't tell you this in person...) and DC Comics' parent company was bought by AT&T. Huge swathes of key people at DC were pretty unceremoniously fired, including the man at the top and the 5G project was shelved.

But creatives don't like to see good work left in a drawer, and accountants don't like to have work they've paid for languishing un-published and not generating revenue. So. For the next two months normal service at DC is suspended and instead we bring you Future State - a peek into the future of the DC heroes we know and love - or their successors...
