Destination Venus opened its doors for the first time on 1st September 2005, and has been bringing the joy of comics to the people of Harrogate ever since.

Our current owner was an English Teacher for many years, and still works with schools and libraries to use comics to promote literacy, story-telling and the enjoyment of reading.

So browse our online persona, then come and see us in person, under the stairs of the Everyman Cinema in Harrogate. We have the latest releases, back issues, graphic novels and collections waiting for you to explore - and if we don't have what you're looking for we'll get it if it's out there to be got!
