Geeks at the Gates on the Radio - Shownotes for 19th March 2020

Welcome to the show notes of the 19th March radio show, as broadcast on Harrogate Community Radio.

The geeks are back playing Dungeons and Dragons. I'd put a recap of the story so far here, but there's a lot of it and it's only really of interest if you listened to the show, and if you listened to the show you got a recap there, so it seems silly to duplicate things.

I will say that Regie messed up in the intro - he said there's be another instalment of his story "Shift", but there wasn't, because we couldn't fit it into the hour. We're sure you'll survive the disappointment. If you're really lucky there won't be time for it next week either.

As our heroes went about their quest, mention was made of the video of a Racoon trying to eat cotton candy in a puddle. This is it:

Because that's a bit sad and we're all sad enough, I also add this:

If anyone speaks Japanese I'd love to know what the narrator is saying.

So, anyway. Back to the show. We fought a crocodile...

You'll note that Regie hasn't finished painting Emanon yet, but Nyx and Grit are looking finest kind.

And that was about it for the show! Regie did throw in one "Science!" story at the end, about N.A.S.A. fixing a Mars lander by telling it to hit itself with a shovel. As you'd expect, the real story is more complex than that - but really not much! full details here:
