New Mutants is a movie that just can't get a break. Repeatedly held up by any number of issues and then, just when it was due to hit theatres the world was hit by COVID-19.

Now it's up for pre-order on Amazon.com and unlike so many other Disney owned features has no cinema release date, which suggests they've finally written this one off.

NEW US COMICS DISTRIBUTORS CONTINIE TO MEET WITH APPROVAL AS OTHER PUBLISHERS TAKE AN INTEREST

Obviously this means nothing in the UK right now, but it is reported that Lunar Distribution, who are distributing for DC Comics in the South and West of the United States, are in talks with other publishers. The challenge to Diamond's monopoly continues, and sooner or later that's going to have an effect in other markets too.
