DARK KNIGHT - DEATH METAL GETS FREE DIGITAL ONLY PRELUDE
Death Metal, the sequel to the universe altering Metal series would be hitting the rack tomorrow were Diamond still operating a weekly delivery schedule. (It should have started back in May but was delayed by COVID-19 and it's out today in North America.) Here in the UK we have to wait until next week, but you can read a free digital only prelude over on DC's Instagram, as Wonder Woman gets a situation update from Swamp Thing.

TROUBLE IN THE 'VERSE AS A BLUE SUN RISIES IN SEPTEMBER
BOOM! has done an impressive job with its Firefly comics since it picked up the licence from Dark Horse and it is stepping up the profile of the book with its first Firefly Event.
Starting with Blue Sun Rising #0 in September, written by Greg Pak with art from Dan McDaid with Joss Whedon stepping in as "story consultant". The event will run through Firefly #21 to #24 and then conclude in Blue Sun Rising #1.
The story will follow Sheriff Malcom Reynolds and the crew of Serenity as they take on the might of the 'verse spanning mega corporation Blue Sun.

DIAMOND DELIVERY SCHEDULE TO END OF JUNE
We have previously announced that Diamond would be recommencing weekly deliveries from 20th May. As a result of various factors (their own warehouse capacity if they are to maintain social distancing and protect their staff, availability and cost of air freight and the need to be consistent) they have now revised and reduced this schedule. Deliveries will now re-start on Wednesday 27th May, and be fortnightly until the end of June, at which point they will reassess the situation.
The new schedule is as follows.
Wednesday June 24th
What will actually be shipping on those dates is unclear at present. We'll keep you informed, and also let you know as soon as possible what's happening in July.
