GEOFF JOHNS ATTACHED TO GREEN LANTERN TV SHOW
Johns has a long history with the Lanterns - he wrote the comic for eight years or so, and was responsible for introducing the concept of the "emotional spectrum", alongside many other events and storylines now considered integral to the character.
He's only onboard as an Executive Producer, which means his hands-on involvement will be limited, but the fact that he's been brought on board means there will be a pair of eyes that actually understands the character paying attention. We've long argued that the main problem with DC's cinematic offerings has been the lack of this kind of oversight.
